FREEDOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (sort of)
Oh yes, they're gone... gone to school- and I am free again. Well, as free as a mom with a 2 1/2 year old and a 6 month old are. But relatively speaking, so I am pleased. They leave at 7:30, return home at 3:15. I can get a whole lot done during that time. Oh yes I can. OR... I can read, relax, nap, shop, really- it's up to me. And it feels GREAT!!!
Pretty Hannah girl...
Five is ALIVE! Fifth grade!!!
1st, 4th, & 5th graders- all at the same school!
Have a great day kids... see you later today! LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Grateful...
I am so grateful for a good husband. A husband who honors his priesthood and is worthy to share it. We are SO on the same page and I love it! Last night at dinner, Hunter said the prayer and mentioned the first day of school... immediately following the prayer, we looked at each other and said, "Father's blessings!!!" So guess what our Family Home Evening was last night? (we have it on Sunday nights since Brock has football on Mondays)... you guessed it, Father's Blessings for the first day of school.
Bill did an amazing job. He was so inspired with the things he blessed each child with. I was just amazed at his strength and love for our children. Even Barrett wanted his turn even though he's not going to school. He sat so still while Bill gave him his blessing. It was such a neat experience. So today I am grateful, grateful for my wonderful husband Bill.
Here's a few goofy pics of him & 4 of the kids after their blessings:

Meet the Teacher
So we had "meet the teacher" on Friday night 8/22. This is a highly anticipated event. They post class lists at 4:45 pm and then you get to go into the school at 5:30 to see your classroom and meet your teacher. It's pretty exciting! We are SO excited about our kids' teachers this year!
Hunter got just who he was hoping for... "the coolest teacher in the whole school"- Mr. Olmo
Brock got Hunter's teacher from last year, Mrs. Mitchell... we absolutely LOVE her!
And Hannah got Mrs. Bugni- a teacher I had never met, but have heard wonderful things about!
She has 2 kids that attend our school and Brock knows her son.
We are SOOO ready for school to start- ESPECIALLY ME!! :)

SCOUTING...
Oh, the joys! As a mom of 4 boys, it's inevitable: I will be involved in scouts. Thankfully (SHHH!) they haven't called me to scouts yet, but we are thick into Wolves and Webelos! Here's the boys getting TONS of awards from their accomplishments over the summer:
Love those beltloops... you're looking at Mr. BB shooting!
Hunter's list was so long they had to read it off... 13 pins, 8 beltloops, and 5 patches!
Bro. LeBaron ROCKS!!!
I always used to think my parent's rule of getting your eagle scout BEFORE your driver's license was a great one, now I'm not so sure. I'm not really wanting to earn 4 eagle scouts in the next 16 years. BUT- it'll be worth it someday... right mom!?
p.s. pics of Hannah and I are still forthcoming-- waiting for a CD to arrive... I know, you're on pins & needles!

Football Season has arrived!
Oh yes, we are back in football mode: TEXAS football mode. Full throttle ahead! Except this year, it's only 1 boy and 1 girl involved, not 2 boys! Hunter decided not to play football this fall, but to play basketball in the winter, thanks buddy... I owe ya! But Brock is a die hard and is on the 9 year old Bears this year. Look how tough he is! (temp. tattoo grandparents!)
Hannah is going to be cheering (officially!) for Brock's team this year. Here's a pic of her last year in her "fake," as she called it, cheerleading uniform. This year she's the real deal!
She just got her uniform... we'll post a pic soon!!
GOOOO BEARS!!!

Family Pictures...
We had family pictures taken on our trip to Yellowstone and this is all you're gonna get for now!! Just wait until our Holiday Card comes out sometime in Nov./Dec.-- then you'll see the real deal! But I love my family pics, they are so awesome! What more can you expect when you have the cutest kids EVER?!?!
These 4 boys were all born in 1 year's time. We call them Warnick's posse! (Warnick is the oldest of the 4, named after my mom's maiden name.) L-R: Dalin, Barrett, Andrew, Warnick
N&P with their 17 grandkids! And counting... this picture will, no doubt- be outdated in the next year or two! (not by me!)
All 33 of us... it's impossible to get a perfect picture when over half of the participants are kids, but we tried!

Probably my most "favoritest" picture of all time!!! With my most "FAVORITEST" people of all time!! I love you sibs! L-R: Tyler, Matt, Kelly, Julie, Megan, Mike, Adam
3 sisters... we always get an up close picture w/ the three of us for my dad to put on his desk at work and show us off!!
Spankin's!!
Randi Brunt was the photographer. Her website is www.flutterpix.com If any of you are in the Spokane, WA area... LOOK HER UP! She's amazing! She was so patient and we just had a blast taking these pics! Thanks Randi!
p.s. I have a few more of Hannah and I, but that will come in a separate post-- I'm all posted out for today!! Peace OUT!

My Favorite Things Party
So at our family reunion, we had a "my fav. things party." It was so fun! Initially, I suggested it as an "all girls activity," but the boys wanted in too, and I am so glad they did-- they made it so much fun! We had everyone bring between 3 and 5 (or 9--Matt!) $5.00 items of their favorite choice to share and we put them all in the middle of our huge circle and went to town. It was a blast! Here's the results:
Lacy, brother Matt, & Mom with their loot...
Lacy, brother Matt, & Mom with their loot...
Tristan & my brother Adam with their scores... no the baby was not entered- she would have gone first though!
Whitney & my brother Tyler bringing home the prize... and another cute baby!
My sister Megs, nephew Cameron, Dad, brother Mike, & Michele
Ironically (not) there's no picture of me, boo hoo.
But this is what I ended up with:
5 tubes of my all time favorite chapstick (which also happens to be my dad's, brother's, sister's, and moms too... we're all addicted to menthol!) CHERRY ICE ROCKS!
1 really really really neat turquoise headband that my sister kelly brought.
It's super versatile and so cute!
1 awesome cell phone car magnet- thanks daddy-o!
A super cool cheese slicer that my brother Matt brought- go matty!
and..... Frizz Ease hairspray from my SIL Lacy- which, BTW, I love!!!
Definitely a must for all future family reunions!

VACATION...
So, I have needed a vacation from my vacation- a 2 1/2 week one. We just had way too much fun! After a 27 hour drive, we arrived in Mack's Inn, ID (20 minutes outside of Yellowstone, WY on the snake river). We were there for 10 days of paradise! We met up with our kids in good 'ol Rexburg after 3 long weeks of separation, it was so great to see them! Then we spent 10 days in a cabin on the golf course - Bill was in HEAVEN!- w/ 33 members of my immediate family.
I am posting a TON of pictures because I took almost 400- and I just can't choose a few to share! With my new camera, there are just hardly any bad pictures! (no, I'm not posting 400!) So enjoy...
Nana & Hannah... love you!
Cousin's bday party- uncle Mike getting whacked by balloons!

Papa-- the man behind it all! Love this pic, but why 2 pairs of sunglasses dad?

My SIL Whitney had these shirts made for all the "SG's"(Seamons Grandkids)... they were so cute!
My hubby was in HEAVEN! He golfed 6 times in 10 days and he deserved every minute of it!
Best Cousins FOREVER! Hunter & Tucker *Nice Hair Hunt!
