My new goal...

The picture of summer-

My new goal is to enjoy the rest of the summer and the chaos that comes with it!  We only have 3 more weeks of sleeping in and careless days.  It's time to just slow down and enjoy it.  (I can only say this because we scoured the house today!)  But I know our time is limited and soon we'll be so busy in school, football, cheer, band, soccer, scouts, etc. that we won't be able to just hang out and be lazy together!  So here's to a few more weeks of RELAXATION and fun!

SOOOO much to catch up on...

But I have an incredibly busy week- so it will have to wait!  When I do get some time to sit down, I want to post about:

Driving to Utah by myself NON-STOP w/ 3 little kids.-- 22 hours (gagging now)
Amazing "girl's week"
Reuniting with my 3 older kids
Fantastic Family reunion
New business venture... don't roll your eyes, this one is FOR REAL!
Returning home to LOTS TO DO!!  (just posted that in this post!)

Reuniting with our 3 olders!

It had been WAY too long since we'd seen our older 3 kids!  19 days!  That's a long time!!!  They had so much fun at both sets of grandparent's homes.  It was so great for them-- thank you grandparents!  They loved every minute! 

We met up with them at Sam's Club in Idaho Falls.  It was so wonderful to hug and kiss them again... They even looked a little bigger!  Missed you guys!

We did our grocery shopping (bumped into a few friends too!:) and headed up to Mack's Inn for 7 days full of fun and adventure... and a little relaxing!

Girl's Week!

This was my reasoning for driving 22 hours to Utah... to be with these gals--

The "FAB FIVE"  Four of us have known each other since we were 3.  Kelly joined us @ 15 years old.  There's just something about being with someone who's known you FOREVER... you don't even have to talk.  Although we did a lot of that-- too much!  4 am too much!

Between the 5 of us, we have 20 children.  Crazy how we are all grown up, but we still know how to have a ton of fun!  Like TP'ing Suzanne's house the first night... more on that later!  :)

Suzanne is an absolutely amazing photographer. On our last night together, she took us to SLC for a photo shoot. Isn't she amazing? It was really fun to get all ready for the pics and pose-- even though we were all VERY concerned with how we looked, our poses, standing just right so we'd look skinny- etc. It was a crack up! These are just a few that Suzanne edited for us to see. Truly beautiful these friendships!!

 

Girls "Week"- trip to Hogle Zoo

On Monday we took a trip to Hogle Zoo... with all the kids--

It was a great day!  Barrett & Dalin, cousins!
