So here's the results of the 3rd birthday!! Barrett was sick and we all wanted to partake of his cake- so we wrapped it in saran wrap and let him blow out his candles! Somehow he is always sick on his birthdays... must be the time of year!

PJ's!!
Love the Christmas Eve PJ tradition...
Bauer was pretty into it, he loved the tissue paper- of course!
Matching boys- I bought these last year after Christmas before BAUER was even born! Good thing they fit!

Hannah in her get up...
This quilt has been 7 years in the making! Well, actually it took me about 3 days to sew, but I have been collecting jeans for over 7 years to make a quilt like this someday. It was a fun addition to our Christmas Eve PJ tradition.
I made it big enough to cover all of us and put Christmas Flannel on the back. It turned out so great. I still want to tie it though, but my sore hand wouldn't allow it for Christmas Eve- I'll do that later!!
Merry Christmas to All and to All a Goodnight!!!

Nativity- sort of...
This was our make-shift nativity on Christmas Eve... at about 9:30 pm. Not much in the way of costumes-- but we did it, none-the-less!!! Hannah was more than happy to play the part of Mary (the luck of being the only girl), and Barrett was a very UNCOOPERATIVE Joseph. Brock the shepherd was herding the sheep (Bauer), which left Hunter to play the part of the Angel and the Wisemen... He did quite well, I must say! One funny thing that Hannah said earlier that day as we were shopping. She wanted to buy a toy and I told her that she didn't need any toys, she replied: "But mom, that's what Christmas is all about- Jesus and toys!!" Thank goodness she said Jesus first before toys!

Christmas Eve Dinner...
We were privileged this year to have my parents with us from Sacramento for Christmas. They stayed for 10 glorious days! ***I truly know how lucky I am to have this experience and I cherished EVERY moment...*** It was so much fun. They had to work pretty hard for their keep though, as I only had one functioning hand for most of the time while they were here. (who am I kidding, I still really only have one functioning hand!)
My dad served his mission in England and our family tradition has always been to have his traditional dinner he used to have on Christmas Eve in London. So.... we had a DELICIOUS prime rib dinner on Christmas Eve. It was FANTASTIC!! Here's some pics of the grub:
Prime rib roast, cooked perfectly to medium and soooo moist!
Creamed Spinach
My mom's homemade rolls... YUM!
