Happy 1 week birthday Mr. B!!

SO IT WAS BROUGHT TO MY ATTENTION THAT I NEVER PUT HIS DATE OF BIRTH... HE WAS BORN ON FRIDAY, FEB. 22ND (WASHINGTON'S BDAY!) AT 1:01 PM.
CAN'T BELIEVE IT'S ALREADY BEEN A WEEK... WE ARE SO IN LOVE WITH OUR LITTLE GUY!! IN A WAY, I WANT TO GO BACK TO ONE WEEK AGO BECAUSE I LOVE LABOR & DELIVERY AND THE NEWNESS OF IT ALL, BUT IN ANOTHER WAY, I AM GLAD WE'RE A WEEK OUT AND GETTING MORE ACCLIMATED BY THE DAY. NOW, IF WE COULD JUST GET SOME SLEEP..... YAWN!! WE LOVE YOU BAUER JOSEPH SIVLEY!

He's HERE!!! 2 1/2 weeks early WITHOUT induction!!! I feel so much better! He weighed in at 8 lbs. 5.5 oz. and is 20" long! He's got some strawberry blonde hair and we think he looks like Brock. We are home and feeling ok- just TIRED! More to come later! Love, Julie

We're Movin' On Up!

So... went to the doc this morning and I am a little more dilated and started to efface. She doesn't think I'll make it to the 4th, and she knows I am a "Planner," so she moved my induction date up 1 whole week to Feb. 26th! That means I have 6 more days................... can ya'll join me in a "YEEEHAAAAW" or a "YAAAAHOOOOO?" I am so ready, so excited, and just glowing! The end is even more in sight, I can do this!!!!
Bill took the coolest pic of my belly last night... I can hardly believe he got the shot!! Pretty amazing... Check it out: JUST JOKING!!! For those of you that know me, that is not my belly (gotta lot more stretch marks than that!) but isn't that a cool pic?! It's on a hoax baby site. I think it's real. Either way, Bauer's gonna kick his way out soon!!! :)

Daddy/Daughter Dance

Last night, Hannah had "THE BEST NIGHT OF MY LIFE!!!"... a date with her dad. And apparently, dad had a great time too- I better be careful or he'll be taking her out from now on cuz I would venture to say she was much more fun than this prego mama is these days!



The city of Frisco puts on an annual Daddy/Daughter dance every year and we were so excited for Hannah to be old enough to go this year. It's a BIG THING (as is everything in TX!)... but, by BIG, I mean limos, flowers, pictures... etc.! Hannah even told me before the date that she was nervous! hee hee. I remember those days! She was so excited to wear mom's necklace (which she lost- guess she was dancing too hard! Thank goodness for FAKE diamonds and Sam Moon)! Dad even got her a wristlett corsage and he had a boutinier. And she had a tiara... because what is a princess without a crown?



They met at the Tanners for pictures and then went to dinner at Chili's, and then to the dance, where they rocked the night away. Hannah said they played the BEST music ever and she was a crazy dancing fool! They played Hannah Montana, High School Musical, YMCA, Celebration, and the list goes on! She had punch and cookies and came home twirling.

What the Hail?!?

Here's a quick few pictures of what we woke up to at 6 am Sat. morning. We had marble to quarter sized hail coming down in mass amounts!! It sounded like someone was shooting out the windows of our house! And yes, our cars that were outside have little dings on the roof, hood, and back. Good thing the Suburban was in the garage!! You just gotta LOVE Texas!!! WE DO!

The Things I LOVE...

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY... here's some of the loves of my life-

This MAN... he is amazing. And he gets more amazing by the day!! Don't know what I'd do without him. He rescues me every night when he gets home from work and he is just the hottest, most sensitive and loving man- I don't know what I do to deserve his royal treatment!? I can't wait to have this baby and be privileged to have him be the father of my 5 children-- and have I mentioned what an AWESOME labor coach he is? The best! Ice chips all the way, baby!

(Which, by the way, I went to the dr. yesterday and I am dilated 2-3 cm and getting ready for this little guy... but still realizing that it could be days, could be weeks- so not getting any hopes up! Besides, I have been receiving death threats if I don't last until Monday when my mom is available- and friends are suggesting I wait until after my baby shower Tuesday... and my sister is mad I may not last until March 4th... sorry Kel! All these stipulations! Geez!!)

My Extended Family

How blessed am I? I have two amazing parents (thank you for my Valentine Roses Daddy... and yes, I will be your Valentine!!), two amazing parents in-law, 6 siblings, 7 siblings in-law (who are just as much my siblings as my actual siblings!), 10 neices and nephews, Grandma and Grandpa Dymond, lots of cousins and aunts & uncles... the list goes on and the number is over 100... I am so lucky!! Plus all those who have passed away who are watching over me and holding on tight (a little too tight!) to our new baby boy about to join our family.

My friends...

I don't have a pic of all of them- of course, but what would I do without friends? A girl without girlfriends is like a horse without water... it just doesn't work! I have so many friends near and far that call me, ask me if I need anything, are there ALWAYS when needed, and are the biggest blessings in my life! You know who you are gals! Thanks!

If I wasn't pregnant, the next item would be chocolate--

but being really PREGO, the next item would be SALT. Anything salty... Chipotle chips, Taco Bell, Jinbeh Fried Rice- mmmmmm..... the more salt=better! The only exception to this is ICECREAM... always has been, always will be a favorite!

Ok, it's not all about food- there are other things I love and could not do without...

Sonic Ice:

Ok, so does this count as food? ha ha... It's water! Frozen... you know, the little rabbit pellet ice... LOVE IT!!! Did you know you can buy it by the bag for like $1.50?! YEAH!!!

Leachco Back & Body Pillow:

I could not LIVE without this thing... we lovingly refer to it as _________, (the name of one of my old boyfriends... whose name will go unmentioned here.) But it's very nice to cuddle with!

My dirtdevil cone-- makes it look like I might vacuum my kitchen (don't be fooled!):

TV shows I've TIVO-ed (and can watch late at night when I am sleepless):

Brothers and Sisters, Americal Idol, Biggest Loser Couples, Moment of Truth, House, and many more that I am mad at since they aren't on right now due to the dumb writer's strike,which is APPARENTLY OVER... get back to work!!!!

Ambien...

the little white pill- don't have too many sleepless nights with this magic potion around!

Bubble baths:

With Bath & Body Sleep bubble bath..... mmmmmm so yummy and smells so good!

Caution- do not take Ambien BEFORE a bubble bath, it may result in the inability to get out of the bath on your own, get dressed on your own, and get in bed without MAJOR assistance.

These are just a few things I LOVE... there are many more, but I think I'm going to go take a bath! Although, I don't know if it's a good thing to use my sleep bubble bath at 10:15 am?

I've got the gear!!

So, I've got all the gear... now I need the baby... this is what I've been doing lately to pass the time! This "rag quilt" has been my project for the last day and it turned out so cute! I just LOVE it! It's 50" x 50" and so cuddly, I want to keep it for myself! But I won't mind Bauer sharing it with me at all!! And isn't my stroller and carseat the BEST EVER!!! It's a Combi Twin Savvy Stroller and Car Seat that snaps right in! Thanks to my brother Adam for the connection and great deal- and Grammy and Papa Sivley for the very useful and great baby gift! My back and Bauer thank you too!!!

And here's the latest and greatest= the Graco Sweet Peace Baby Soothing Center. It ROCKS- well, actually, it swings, but it is supposed to be the greatest little miracle soother thingy ever! And this baby #5 is going to need some soothing with all the noise in this house. I just put it together this morning and it's soooooo neat! Now, if I can just keep Barrett out of it! He's way past the weight limit! Thank you to Nana and Papa Seamons for this great baby gift for Bauer! My ears will be thanking you!!! We are so lucky to have so much support and love awaiting this baby. Come soon little guy!!

That's it!!!!! I am D.O.N.E.

I don't think I can go on another day... there comes a point in every woman's pregnancy when she reaches a her threshold. Hopefully it's not until 40 weeks, but come on- let's be practical. With each pregnancy, it gets earlier and earlier. Today I am DONE. (and did you see the little counter over on the right side?... well, it's wrong- it says I still have 26 days left in me! Uh-uh, no way!)

You know that list of all of the "common discomforts of pregnancy?" Oh yeah, I've got em, every single one of them. This may be T.M.I., but it's the honest truth, just look at this list:

Nausea- check

Fatigue- YAWN... check

Hemorroids- check

Varicose Veins- check

Heartburn- check

Indigestion- check

Bleeding Gums- check

Gagging while brushing teeth- check

Stretch Marks- up and down and all around, check

Swelling- check

PICA (eating dirt/chalk)- NO... but that's just crazy.

Fluid Retention- check

Skin problems- check

Congestion- check

Constipation- ouch, check

Backache- check

Dizzyness- check

Headaches- check

Weight Gain- uh, yeah, check

Frequent Urination- check

Difficulty Sleeping- check, check, check... been up since 3 am

Shortness of Breath- check

Breast Tenderness- check

Leg Cramps- check

Hormone/Mood changes- check (ask Bill)

Frankly, I am TIRED, MOODY, IRRATIONAL, SORE, MISERABLE, and ready to birth this child. Let this be a reminder to me that 5 kids is plenty, I don't need 6... I can't do another pregnancy, and neither can my poor family. I am trying to hang on until at least Feb. 18th, which is when my mom could come (she can't come before then), but secretly, last night in the bath tub, I was pushing, trying to have my very own water birth. I can't take it anymore!!!!!!!! March 4th cannot come soon enough-- I mean seriously now, it's a matter of crucial importance, this mama is finished, stick a fork in me, I AM DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Happy Birthday to me... yesterday!

Yes... I had a birthday yesterday! It's amazing how many times one can turn 29! It was a very nice day and I am exhausted! I will write some more later! Going to take a nap now! Jules
