Happy New Year 2009!!!

We went to a New Year's Eve Party at the Copelands. It was a blast... thanks Grammy & Papa for babysitting! Bear with all the pics, it was a fun filled night!

Playing games

A little Rock Band 2

Ok-- we had a white elephant gift exchange. Only this one had a little twist: unbeknownest (sp?) to the husbands, instead of bringing a true white elephant gift-- the wives were to wrap up something valuable of their husband's to give away. The next set of pictures is all the reactions to the things the wives gave.
Cameron REAMING Anne for giving away the watch her dad gave him for father's day.

Teem reacting to Emily giving away the lightsaber he bought for his son (and himself) for Christmas.

Bill's reaction when David Shumway opened up a box of Bill's baseball cards. On the outside of the box, it said: "Bill's best baseball cards- throw away and you're throwing away gold." It was one of the first to be opened and he was FLOORED to see I had wrapped them up to give them away.

David going through Bill's cards... Bill was NOT happy. David, on the other hand was HAPPY!!!

After 2 people had stolen them, Bill's turn was up and he took them back. They were frozen-- he was SOOOO happy! (as if he wouldn't have gotten them back!)

Ryan with Len's "prized" Cowboy Cheerleader photo...

Len's reaction...

WHAT?!?!

Darren's reaction when Kristan gave away the keys to his Lexus... "Real funny Kristan!"

"Ooooohhhh... an autographed BYU helmet! NICE..."

Seriously Trisha? NICE...

"Cameron! We scored!"

"what have you done?

"I can't live without that helmet!"

That is such a fun idea for a gift exchange- I'll have to remember that for next year! We missed you last night at the New Year's Eve party and at the Rose Parade today. I'm glad you had a fun Christmas and New Years- and that your surgery went well!
