Eyes popped open at 5:27 am. I can't sleep. I'm too excited. Hannah is getting baptized this morning!!! Can she really be 8 years old and ready to be baptized? She's ready alright! With a dress to be baptized in and a dress for afterwards, white ruffly socks, white panties (yes, I did just say panties!), white shoes, white pearl necklace, white pearl earrings, white pearl bracelet, white flower for her hair. How will she ever stay clean? She may not stay physically clean **see "chocolate waffle brunch** on invite... but she will stay spiritually clean for the day-- at least!
I love you Hannah, I am so proud of you. Today is YOUR day...
And this was me on my day-- 27 years and 3 months ago!!
I still remember the feeling now! Hope you do too!
